 The stained glass windows of
Community Presbyterian Church of Lake Havasu City were part of a
church renovation begun in December 1985. The Christ Window was
professionally designed and crafted by the Powers Brothers
Studio of Scottsdale, Arizona. The portrait of Jesus is based on
a sketch drawn by a Hallmark artist, a member of the Second
Presbyterian Church of Kansas City, Missouri. Twelve windows,
each a symbolic representation of one of the twelve apostles of
Jesus, were created and fashioned as a result of a cooperative
effort by about fifty volunteers, most of them members of the
church, and students from a Stained Glass Class at the local
Community College.
